About Wednesday Brews
This site offers the latest information about Long Island City's hottest weekly meetup group, where friends get together to enjoy great beers and fantastic company.
How it works
Every Wednesday we meet at a brewery or bar somewhere in Long Island City. The spot changes week to week — waterfront when the weather's good, somewhere with a roof when it isn't. We start at 7:30 p.m. and people drift in throughout the evening. There's no agenda and no obligation. Come when you can.
Getting the details
Once you join, you'll get one text each week with where we're meeting, what the weather's doing, and why that spot. Reply IN if you're coming or OUT if you can't make it — it helps whoever's hosting know roughly how many chairs to grab.
Keeping score
We check in at the table each week, and those check-ins add up. Show up enough and you'll work your way from First Pour to Mug Club and, eventually, Hall of Foam. It is entirely for bragging rights, which is exactly why people care about it.
Who can join
Friends, and friends of friends. If you found your way here, someone probably sent you — sign up and we'll see you Wednesday.
